Anonymous said...: it sucks to be at war. we don't like and we didn't want it, and that is one of the many things that distinguishes us from our enemies. unfortunately then as now our enemies weren't giving us the choice. the denial and myopia of idealistic israelis such as those quoted in this article compromised our strategic position and ultimately had a direct and deleterious effect on the impact that the current hostilities have had on us. it is unconscionable although it is surely attributable more to the naivete that a democratic society affords than to any real moral culpability. these people should not be given a public forum to speak in, they don't even seem to know what they believe in anymore. i am sick to my stomach as well.; 1:17 PM
