Israel Election Results

Jerusalem Post - Election Results
Kadima - 28
Labor - 20
Shas - 13
Yisrael Beitenu - 12
Likud - 11
National Union / NRP - 9
Gil (senior citizens) - 7
United Torah Judaism - 6
Meretz - 4
United Arab List - 4
Balad - 3
Hadash - 3
Now its time to play mix and match. My preference, kadima, labour, YB and the pensioners for a total of 67 votes, excluding all religious parties and fascists on both sides.

All with you there for the wished-for government.

I'm glad Labor did better than expected. I'm also glad Netanyahu had it bad - he had more than ample time to show he's a leader, and showed he's not.

Good news:
"Meretz officials demand Beilin's ouster, call for new primaries"

if only the fascist Shas went down the same drain, that wuld be great.

Yeah, looks like the Meretz voters supported Kadima. Sort of a pyrrhic victory for Beilin.

My hope is that Yossi Beilin will now move to Shas. He's good at takeovers. He's also good at badly crippling whatever party he's in. If he gest Israel rid of Shas, I'll start liking him. Meretz was a good start, Shas should be the auspicious continuation.
